This class explores how the alignment of Tadasana (Mountain Pose) aids in healthier/happier neck, shoulders, low back and hips. The aim is to educate and stabilize our posture through an overview of the anatomy and function of these common pain areas, the use of props, muscle engagement and modifications. This class is for teachers interested in deepening their understanding of these common stress areas and how to shape sequencing and cueing appropriately. Students interested in learning how to work in class and at home with weakness or pain primarily in neck, shoulders, low back and hips are also welcome. Be prepared for partner work.
