What is MovementLab?
MovementLab is a dance, yoga, and somatic education school, based in Taos County, NM.
What is included in the Yoga School membership?
We offer all-levels yoga and dance classes every week. Please visit the classes page for the levels of membership and options. The All-Access membership is billed on a monthly basis, includes 8 live all-levels yoga classes, four of the 3 Bodies dance/movement classes, and over 100 yoga videos taken from the livestream classes and meditation recordings.
I have been a member on the previous site. How can I log in to this site?
You will need to create a brand new login and enter credit card information to this new site if you choose to continue with an All Access Monthly Membership. By purchasing this membership, you’ll receive a new login automatically for this site.</li><> If you decide to wait, you can buy multi-class passes here, good for any of the class offerings on the calendar, without needing a login. Or pay for a drop-in class.
Do you have any sample classes?
Yes! On the sample classes page under the "Classes" menu.
How long are the classes?
Classes in the library vary in length. The live yoga classes (via Zoom) are 1 hour and rarely exceed 1.5 hours. "3 Bodies" dance class is now in person in Taos, NM. One hour class and one hour of free dance/movement, with a short check in session afterwards.
What other events will be included?
We also offer a meditation class on Wednesday mornings, and TRE® (Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises) as well as some special offerings at different times of year. You can check the calendar for upcoming workshops and classes.
What about private yoga lessons?
Yes! Contact Nadine through the Contact page to schedule a private yoga lesson via Zoom, or other online means, where applicable.
What is Zoom?
Zoom is the web conferencing software that we use for the virtual yoga studio. There’s a very good explanation of how it works here. You can download the apps for desktop and mobile here for free.
What about security? Is my data safe?
We follow guidelines set by GDPR and use 128-bit secure encryptionv (SSL) for the website. We update all site software regularly. No financial data or card numbers are stored on our server, as we use third party card processing. If you have further questions about our policies, please write to support@infoarc.io
